Featured Need help to identify Portieux & Vallerysthal or Gillander?

    I found this site by searching for a piece of glass that I am trying to identify. A member posted several years ago the same piece, but mine is on a metal base. Maybe someone knows more?

    Yes, here it is.
    No, the figure is resting an arm on an object. Maybe a lantern?

    It does not appear in the one known catalog from Gillinder Glass Co.

    The clothing the figure is wearing looks sort-of Greek, IMO.
