    Marked Peerage Made in England. Very heavy, rattles a bit. Wha'? ;)

    Not an inkwell, can you look inside ?
    We use oil cans which are like that too, with a paintbrush for oiling on lathe or threading.

    There's no sign of any oil or residue, no way of filling the thing. Given what Peerless made, I think davey got it!
