I read something that said his painting was after a watercolor by "Leon Moran," but as best I can tell there's nothing to back that up...

I was hoping it was Lily Langtry in a movie about Queen Louise, but I find myself again disappointed.
She seems to have been endlessly reworked....
Interesting. She was a Georgian character, not Victorian. Dead in 1810 so can't be a photograph of her.

Similar images are widely given as Queen Louise of Prussia. Her dates are a bit early though. Here she is with all the other Louises...
