History buff from Pooraka

Hello to all and thank you for allowing me to join your forum.
My name is Anita from Pooraka, South Australia. a grandmother currently of 6, used to work, but now retired after working 50 years in various interesting and not so interesting positions. I am a keen family researcher and completed a advanced diploma during COVID. I also love learning about the past, particularly UK and European history.
Over the years I have collected a few vintage and antique items and am in the process of sorting through these and working out what I should pass onto my children and what I should or could sell. I have a big collection of vintage jewellery, mostly brooches, many silver pieces, but some plastic, depends on if they caught my eye or not.
I love pottery and we have a few pieces of Royal Worcester, some signed Stinton pieces, Kitty Blake and a few others. Other items collected, that I found interesting at the time of buying, I wish to move along as I know my children would not be interested in keeping them.
My reasons for joining this forum?. I am hoping that the collective knowledge of this group may be able to better inform me about some items I have and maybe I could do the same, however I doubt that I would know something that is of interest to others.
