Arabic vase ?

Have a look at the pictures attached. Any help would be useful. Wondering what is says in arabic, what it's used for... and worth something ?

Thanks guys.. I found a very similiar one on ebay see pictures... but i'm missing the chains... on the top I can see some places where they should have been though.

Not a bad find as I paid like 10$ for it !
