Featured Some thing Abstract found again

And this one I have never found any similar painting on the net so any idea about Artist en when made and where ? Thanks

 

Someone named Wim who was active in 1966.
The only one I can think of is Wim Jonkman, but as far as I know he signs with 'Jonk'. He does have a very varied oeuvre.

 

Looks incomplete to me with all the sketching but maybe that is what the artist intended.

 

I also thought that was all just part of it.

 

Me also think because off the name and date on it that this is a finished painting as is . Wim Jonkman I had al look but nothing yet found by him in this style .

Funny you came up with Winters. I thought it looked like Winter also and tried to see if Max de Winter could be right but I gave up.

Any info on the back?

 

Also had a look at Terry winters but I don't think there's any link with him . On the back nothing . But in my eyes I see a cross on the left site and a face behind the cross ? So any religious meaning in the painting maybe ?

 

These are the sorts of things that made me look at Max de Winter though many of his paintings are different. No idea.

That looks more like 76 to me than 66

 

Could be or 66 or 76 but the line up in the seven ?

 

Maybe meant to be Wim /76, with the slash overlapping the 7?

Maybe so, but I don't see the "de" part... except perhaps hidden in the darker paint to the left of the signature? Also, looks like he usually includes his first name in the sig -- but that practice can change through time.

 

I will drop him a mail but have very strong doubts about its his work ?
