Allan Adler, according to Wikipedia, was "Silversmith to the Stars". Maybe that's why I've never heard of him...

This spoon was among the stuff I mentioned yesterday, and it's the only piece by this maker. It's 11.5 inches long, and is marked "ALLAN ADLER HANDMADE STERLING".

I can't imagine that this was a serving piece, but was it a bar utensil? Does the style suggest an approximate time frame? To me, it gives a 1950's vibe. DSC_1148.JPG DSC_1149.JPG 20250327_201655.jpg

Cursory web search brings up several sites with the same spoon, described at as "Martini Spoon" and "Sunset".

    I'm flabbergasted!

Apparently it's for stirring a pitcher of martinis!

One of Alan Adler's shops was near me in S. Calif. He also made jewelry. Small, but dedicated collector market.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

It's very long, so that sounds likely. Or, a pitcher of anything that needs to be stirred.
