Featured Arne Johanson Denmark Sterling Banded Agate MCM Pendant

    The closed back makes showing the colors of stone difficult, but it's not, as many of his are, TigersEye. It's ~80mm long, ~43mm major diameter, ~29mm stone diameter, ~4.6mm thick at the stone; weight is ~28 grams. I have forgotten where or when it was acquired.

    Perfect Modernist design, and very Danish.
    It doesn't look like most banded agates either, since those have more distinct bands. And in the first photo the stone has a fibrous look, so I wonder if it is ox eye/bull's eye, the red variation of tiger's eye.
