Featured Delicate Japanese Golden Lacquered Comb

    Another one for today! This one arrived few days ago but I was too lazy to post. A small comb, painted with autumn leaves- Ginkgo and maple leaves, with various pattern on them. The high polish surface almost makes it look like gilt metal. Meiji to Taisho period IMO. Just enjoy!

    Maybe I should photograph them all together but I am still waiting for a few to arrive :oops:

    Shammy-Your taste is exquisite. This is the type of stuff I'd buy if I wasn't so cheap !
    I also like Mingei (Japanese Folk Art), antique Boro- simple pieces to offset and highlight your gorgeous more elaborate Meiji.
