Featured Ceramic crakle glaze green elephant bookendsss

Picked these up.they seem to have some age to them.The glaze looking at base is crakle glaze and can also see crakle under green.

Google is throwing up a few different suggestions for maker but cant find exact match.they dont seem to have any markings to base.

Any help or suggesfions for maker and age would be great.

They measure 8 inches long by 4 inches wide by 6 inches in height approx

 

Might there be letters here?

 

Ive examined it closely under different lights and looked where you have pointed out and there seems to be something there but i cannot make it out so im none the wiser im afraid.
