Featured C. 1785 Wine glass with hexagonal-faceted steam and gold rim

    Hi all) I am on my way in glass collecting. Let me show this beauty, and am I correct in dating?
    P.S. Sorry, maybe my "steam" made some steam)))) STEM!

    I do think you're in the ballpark for the date. Though I've seen a few examples of this cut stem identified as English, this bowl makes me feel German.
    Just curious, what kind of wine is that?

    Thank you! I had a look.. yes, very similar to German glass. And that gold rim as well.
    It is not wine) just modern supermarket juice.
