    any help identifying the signature on this vase?

    It looks like R. Parmentier to me. It might be some regional lady/chap.

    Smooth, confident signature...an' the vase itself is beyond competent. Whoever they are/were, it's very nice!

    I read Armentier, which is a name in both French and Flemish/Dutch.
    Given the beautiful glaze, I wonder if it is from Belgium.

    Certainly possible. The Belgians have done art pottery for a long time.
