Featured Blue aesthetic movement vases identification

I have this pair of vases. There is RD number on the bottom. I can’t find correct information about maker. Hopefully there is some big name behind.

could you please direct me, how can I find details about this registered design? Looks like it is 1892-1893. Information is in the BT50 or BT51. Buuuut… I’m not sure, and need help indeed.

another nice and interesting couple, always love that colour combo

i have seen that type of mark before....but can't place it with anyone

Yes, that what I am trying to find now - who registered this designed in 1892-1893.
Vases are lovely

 

Royal Worcester did some similar. Stunning!

 

All I can find for rd no 203948 is this

No further detail.

I might be wrong, but according to date range, number is for 1892-1893. Design by John Shrimpton is in different class - metal.

Yes. I always find it very confusing. Can't seem to find it in the list of pottery. It seems to skip your number in the list.

Not Worcester for sure. Unusual shape and handles. IIRC, some foreign companies registered their designs in Britain, so I'll throw it into the mix that it might not be British, but Continental.

So — this design was registered on 9 Dec 1892 by Barker, Batty & Read (later - Rubian Art Pottery, Fenton. I then immediately found a matching pair of their jugs with an identical design, but these are marked. Here are the photos.

I still need to do a bit more research on this maker, because in the late 19th century they produced some very aesthetic pieces, and later moved into the mass market. It’s the earlier production that tends to be quite valued.

This vase represents an early production stage in the evolution of the Rubian Art Pottery works at Fenton. Registered in 1892 by Barker, Batty & Read, it belongs to the firm’s first formative phase, before regular Rubian marking became established. The absence of a Rubian mark is therefore not a weakness, but an important sign of its earlier date. Its decoration also connects it directly to the early Rubian circle, where related marked examples are known, making it a valuable transitional piece that documents the beginnings of the factory’s artistic development.
