Help with cameo necklace identification

Have been hanging on to this piece for a while and forget about it, stumble upon it, research it again - still turning up with nada! Are my jewelry experts in here able to assist with identifying this piece? Haven't tried to clean, but as you can see it needs some TLC.

Any help/guidance is always the utmost appreciated!!

The cameos appear to be a molded plastic but close-up photos will help.
I'm going to guess mid-20th century but look forward to seeing what the joolies say!

I'd say early 1950s, costume. The molded lady is a classic costume design and she goes back to that era. She's not bakelite and I don't think celluloid, so that puts the best odds on post-WWII. The chain they used says late 40s to mid-50s to me too, but I defer to legit experts.

Think the cameos themselves are probably Czech glass, but they were used as elements in jewellery manufactured many different places.



Inexpensive materials put together into a rather elaborate whole. Think it could be mid-30s to early 50s. I get an Eastern European vibe, but like bluumz, will be interested to see what members with wider jewellery knowledge will say. They just call me in for cameos.

 

Would love to see more detailed pics, but here is a working hypothesis, from a European context:

I see some Bohemian/Czech influence, but also some German. The backs are not Bohemian, but the general feel is.
Which brings me to Neugablonz. Neugablonz* is a neighbourhood in Kaufbeuren, a town in Germany. After WWII refugees from the Bohemian glass and costume jewellery workshops and factories, many of whom were German-speaking, were resettled there.
The refugees brought with them the skills of their hometown of Gablonz, now known as Jablonec, the centre of Bohemian costume jewellery making. They adapted those skills to more Western styles and more efficient techniques, like plain backs (Bohemian jewellery backs are usually beautifully decorated).
Since it looks like there is a strong Bohemian influence, I would place this necklace in the early years of Neugablonz, ca 1950.

Of course I could be wrong, better and more detailed photos will tell us more. Also tagging @Ownedbybear , if she is around. She is another joolie with a soft spot for Neugablonz.

*Neugablonz means New Gablonz/Jablonec.
