Featured Tie Clip - 15 years at what company?

Tie Clip with the letters MMM and a star. Seems to be a piece given out for 15 years at whatever company. Square piece is marked 10k.

Hmm.. Could be MOTCH & MERRYWEATHER MACHINERY. They were based in Ohio too. First one that stood out at least. Thanks.

This history of the company indicates it began in 1904 and was acquired by Oerlikon-Buehrle and renamed Oerlikon-Motch Corp. in 1979. The tie clip does appear to be a 15-year gift for an employee, which would put the earliest date at 1919. It does look later than 1919 to me.

I'd think 1950s but could, of course, be wrong. You may be able to date it by its width. Tie clips are designed to cover 3/4s of a tie's width and tie widths change with fashion.
