It honestly doesn't look that old. Probably why it went unremarked.

Yes, I'm sure you're right. I thought 1980s at first, till I did a little research.

Okay, estate sale story time, new day, new sale This sale as advertised for Friday and Saturday earlier in the week, but they changed it to Saturday as the first day and then added Sunday as the second day. I debated whether to go, so I rolled in an hour and a half after opening the first day it started. They did not advertise it was loaded with Chanel, Hermes, Saks Fifth Ave, etc. There was a huge line to get in when they opened, and almost all of the designer stuff blew out the door in the first 15 minutes. The estate sellers were not ready for the sale, that's why they didn't start the sale Friday, and I doubt they would have been ready by next Friday. Most items were not priced, and things were all over the place. People were yelling it was taking too long to check out. Here are the first three things I picked up on the table on the way in:

And I can't believe these cufflinks were there. I researched them, they have no markings, but I believe the are Italian rhodium-plated sterling.

They have some fuzzies on them from the box.

Part two, Twilight Zone estate sale
Then I venture into the kitchen. I look through a basket full of junk and find these, never opened
    Lumii_20260502_154422676.jpg
    Sterling silver tallit clips!
Then the line is long and I am standing by the first table I got the other items from earlier, so I pick up a sealed cufflink box. It says Concorde Torpedo Cufflinks, so I think, take a gamble.

British Airways sterling silver cufflinks, original packaging, never opened.

I got a black chiffon long scarf, no great shakes, too. My grand total spent? $23.

I missed a sterling bracelet in the kitchen for $5. Another lady also had a fab vintage faux crocodile handbag with bakelite decorations, but she paid $75 for it. These people will never do my estate sale. I can't help wondering what was there when they first opened.

I would think so! If sterling Tallis/Tallit clips were just sitting in a junk pile, Hashem alone knows what else was hiding in a corner somewhere! Bear would have been all over the Links cufflinks. Then again, so would I. Concorde-related things used to sell like hotcakes.

Friday's estate sale was where I got the rhodalite bracelet. I think today's estate sale is pretty cleaned out.

Still worth looking. I got sterling on Bag Sale day last year at a rummage sale. Full Polish hallmarks.

I am always excited to find new thrift shops, especially church ones. They tend to be reasonable. No jewelry, but some things from the new one.

Silk beltless kimono with pockets, $2
Below, I will post this on the glass/pottery board
    $3

I did get some mostly modern jewelry for $2 each. I was told a lady donated her mother's jewelry, I missed the vintage except for some knotted glass French jet.
    Another thrift had Lumii_20260505_164906925.jpg
a half-priced day for everything except clothing. The teapot, also going on the glass board with questions, was $2
The painted ceramic tiles were 50 cents each.

I saw a Youtuber find a fish sort of like that in an Ill Will. She took one look at the $24.99 price tag and put it down. Hers was a copy with a bar code.(bletch) Yours is real.

Thanks. I haven't found much jewelry, but I am finding some awesome clothing. I got a few new with tags pieces at the Sunday estate sale. I also got another teapot I need to photograph. I have a serious teapot addiction. Good thing I have a husband who tolerates it.

I spent all day yesterday deep cleaning and rearranging my teapots and glassware items. Drove myself nuts trying to find the best arrangements of things.
