Yes, I noticed that, My family manufactured & sold furniture - it looked familiar - now it will drive me nuts trying to figure out why.

Just realized that there is actually 3 different fabrics.

The second picture definitely has three different colorways. They're awfully clean for deadstock. It might also have been someone's idea of High Style. Not a good idea, but an idea. Egyptian or Middle-Eastern taste would fit with the design.

Couple more cheap things seen in the wild. I did not buy either.
Dining set, complete with leaf and custom glass top was only $49.00.

Art deco English or European wardrobe was only $35.00. Was tempted on this one but furniture is not selling right now and I have no storage space.

I am seeing quite a bit at higher prices but not showing it or the run-of-the-mill stuff. I am becoming really jaded.

Seconded. Good luck getting custom glass cut these days. I hope someone made off with that wardrobe. It's gorgeous and demands house room with any handy Narnia freak.

The table set took about a week to sell. The wardrobe sold quickly.

Here is something you don't see often. An antique water heater seen at the local Habitat for Humanity. Priced at $300, I think they will have this awhile :wacky:

I recently noticed that all All American Signature Furniture and Value City Furniture locations in my area seem to be permanently closed. I was actually planning to visit one of their stores soon, but Google shows everything as closed now.
Does anyone know what exactly happened? Was this a bankruptcy, company restructuring, or did they just decide to shut down physical locations completely?
I used to shop there occasionally because they had decent pricing for living room and bedroom furniture, especially during holiday sales. Curious if the brand is still operating online or if there’s any official update about future plans.

I’m in the Midwest, so this came as a surprise to me too, their stores used to be in almost every major shopping mall. At first, I also thought it was temporary or a relocation, but when I checked everywhere it says closed permanently. I stumbled upon some useful information and a discussion on the Furniture website, they’re analyzing the closure situation, possible reasons, and what’s next for the brand.

According to the parent company's web site, the All American Signature Furniture and Value City Furniture stores have permanently closed because the parent company (American Signature, Inc.) is in the Chapter 11 (bankruptcy) process. You can read more here.
