I am looking for another opinion on this vase I bought. Stands 8 1/4" tall. I have been researching shapes, the flare of the rim and the foot. For comparison I have been using Sotheby's current and past auctions as a guide. The pear shape of this vase and the flare of the rim goes with what I have seen on Sotheby's. Any other thoughts?

Beautiful, and the shape is called yuhuchun(ping), as you thought. But I think yours could be Thai Sawankhalok, as opposed to Chinese. Sawankhalok is C14th-15th.

    Maybe @kentworld can chime in?:)

Yes, it seems similar to the yuhuchun shape, but exaggerated foot and lip from the Chinese ones I have -- the foot rim is definitely different. And good catch Any Jewelry -- the decoration has similarities to my little Sawankhalok pot. I would definitely research in that direction. I would have snapped that one up in a heartbeat!

Any and Kent. I have also look at Sawankhalok, I think the shape is wrong.

Annamese/Vietnamese is also an option, their wares are related to both Thai and Chinese wares.

Always a weird trip using google lens. Saw the same item under several different sites and online stores. Hmmm, but then this tidbit from the V&A came up:
The Turiang shipwreck -- similar shaped vase, especially the lip: https://www.vam.ac.uk/articles/shipwrecked-ceramics
