I had to run errands, so I stopped in a thrift I rarely get to. I got a dress for $3, a top for $2, and some jewelry. The jewelry was $2 to $5.
The lobster needs work, but for $2, ok.

Are you sure the green beads are stone? They look like native-cut malachite. If so, you hit a lick. They aren't necessarily old, but they're better than ceramics.

Hey @stracci. I think this pot is Kewa Pueblo, formerly called Santo Domingo. And a nice big one too!

I hit an estate sale today with unbelievable prices. It was full of toys from the 60s on up (no jewelry.) Then I hit a sterling silver sale, all pieces were $20 no matter what they were. I will not be able to post until sometime next week, flea market tomorrow, antique show Sunday, Monday and Tuesday I am busy with sorority charity work, Wednesday one kitty going to the vet and a Memorial Day service project in the afternoon. I will try to photograph the most interesting sterling pieces (I only bought four.) Wishing you fab finds!

Well, I found two finds greatly worthy of $20.
Some flea market finds from today first. It got into the 80s early today, and there weren't as many vendors as usual. I didn't spend more than $5 on any piece, and only three pieces were $5.
    Vendome $2

I forgot the mid-century Victoria Fleming cufflinks, $2 each.

And a story from the flea market. One nice dealer I frequent had an awful customer today. The guy would not stop badgering the dealer to lower prices on Movado watches. He was awful. Finally the dealer took all the watches and put them in his truck and told the guy "they aren't for sale, have a good day." Then the guy really wanted them, but no sale. I told the guy "that's what you get when you play."

I haggle a big, but not much - as to round down to the nearest zero or five. Then again I ran into an estate sale that got all upset when I offered them my break-even price on some damaged/repair pieces that were really in pieces. They wanted retail...for undamaged. After two tries I left it.

Try Joal Polsdorfer for your sterling and pearl pin mark. California maker.

    Picture 2 - likely bakelite
6 - the red knotted beads look like garnet. The clasp could be 14k and could be filled
9 - Not sure about the red beads. I'd get them under a loupe too. I can't see the clasp, but if the gold-y bits are good, it's a safe bet that they're garnets.
