Featured Some nice finds today!

Here is a picture if some if the stuff I found at Garage Sales today. The Chocolate pot and the Lady Vase were $10 ea. and are in perfect condition! The 3 goblets are Fostoria Iridized paid $1 each. The studio Pottery piece was $1 I liked the glaze a lot!
Just thought I'd share!
The cups and saucers are Lenox Hannah Platinum. Those I got Tuesday at the thrift fi=or $3.23 for the set of 4 cups and saucers. (I bought 3 sets). The large colorful pitcher is a Longaberger piece. $3

I am constantly surprised at the stuff I find around here. Not many people seem to be looking for the same stuff I do. Lots of people just decluttering and trying to turn a buck. The farm garage sales are the best. The farm has been passed down for generations, and boxes of mom and grandma's stuff that have been in the basement for years comes out and sold cheap. I LOVE it.

The chocolate pot and vase were at a farm sale. It started at 9am and I got there after 2 pm and it was very busy. So they had been sitting there all morning.

 

I watch an auction house in Ohio. They go on buying runs to Florida a few times a year, and some resellers buy in Florida to sell to them. I think when people retired down there they took all of their good stuff along. That said, areas with lots of long-settled people who didn't move apparently are gold mines too. Around here, everything I see these days has a Homegoods bar code on the bottom.
