Hello everyone, I recently bought this wonderful watercolor. It was professionally framed and I have not removed it from the frame. It is signed and I'd like help with the signature. Do you think it is early 20th century or older? Thanks for any help you can offer.

Too bad they didn't include a photo. It sold for $402.

Label says English, and it's listed as Italian

The one with the label has an F (or something similar) in the signature. This might also have been the case with the Christie's painting. So the origin of the F in the other descriptions, might have been the Christie's description.

"JACOPE is an artist born in the 19th century and deceased in the 20th century."
And that's based on ...?

You're right (as usual). The artist's signature is in an older hand so dating may be correct. Have their charm but... Still think souvenirs.
