...and that they're in code. Car seats expire, and then mean it.

Found some small gold pieces in the thrift store. Spent $150 on them. They should scrap at about $260.

Found a cream and sugar for $4 each.

$4 each? Thrift find of month to be sure. I'm lucky if I find a clean bathroom!

In a shelf lot that I bought today for the 10 Snow Babies that were on it, I found a ladies wristwatch Marked Universal Geneve Swiss and 18K [0.750].

I couldn't believe this sat on a shelf for almost a week and no one realized what it is. It made me doubt that it was really gold. But the markings check out.

I'm sorry the pic of the back isn't clear. It's late and I don't have good lighting set up at the moment. And I'm too tired to set it up.

The last pic shows how it was sitting on a shelf for the auction. That shelf had a whole lot of goodies on it. Besides the snow babies and the watch there were several tiny artisan dolls in a box and 6 or 7 Estee Lauder fancy compacts and perfume containers most in the original boxes.

Wow, double score Vintagerobin! Probably people thought, meh, snowbabies: thinking modern ones. That one on the globe is fantastic. I would not have thought 18K looking at that watch, you really made out! Yay!

They were made by Irma Parks. One is dated 1968 and another 1977. So they aren't just nice artisan pieces, they're vintage too.
