Hello! Picked these small coffee (?) cans up at auction. They are porcelain and measure 2.25"W x 2.25"H. I think they are a little older as they remind me of some of the Meissen I picked up a while back (but they may not be European at all for all I know!). I feel like I should know the mark but I can't seem to find it! Any idea of maker and possible age? Thanks as always!

Me either! Not sure which orientation I should be looking at it at.

I'd hazard a guess at French. Something about the butterflies...

    Update on these too!

A very helpful lady in a Facebook group identified the mark as Atelier Le Tallec, Paris. Founded in 1928 they used a mark in the form of the letters LT, stylized to resemble the old Sèvres mark. Since 1941, the letters began to be supplemented with an annual mark, as well as a decorator's symbol.

The atelier became internationally renowned for its meticulous hand-painted Limoges porcelain, keeping traditional 18th- and 19th-century styles alive. They collaborated with Tiffany & Co in 1961 and were then bought by Tiffany in 1991, closing in 2014. My little cups are from the 1930s I believe.

Yes! There aren't as many with the older mark around. I found another one online yesterday but I can't seem to locate it again.
