Featured Moms metal bread plate / basket....

    komokwa The Truth is out there...!

    she put bread or rolls in it , at holiday time.
    it looks stamped and plated ....maybe cast..... but it's thin.
    9 x 10 x 2 ...... sits on 4 feet.

    Any comments are welcome , as I don't know it's history , and I can't find any marks...

    of course Google already grabbed my photo's........ but 19th century plated fruit plate.... is looking good !;)

    I don't see where mine ever had a handle , & some say they're silver.... but not mine.

    Had something similar once that was Russian silverplate.

    Looks like plate from a time when someone gave a rip about plated pieces. Victorian for sure, but that's all I've got.
