    Actually, it looks like a diamond with two dots to the right. That would date it to 1946 (assuming the can was filled the same year it was made.)

    I don't know why but the idea of eating a pheasant or a turkey out of can is kind of nauseating. On the other hand, eating a turkey, frozen hard and jammed into a plastic pouch is sooo much better, lol!

    The usage of tin cans was restricted during World War II. Makes sense that it was a luxury post-War product.
