In other news, I "slipped" a little today.. went into GW today looking for Pokemon stuff to flip at our yard sale. I see bags of toys with tags still on them for $5 and $7 a bag. I see Pokemon toys in them. I take 2 bags to the register and the guy says "nice grabs, those came in from GameStop yesterday, they donated them all. Brand new."

I brought the 2 bags home and told my wife I better go back. I went back and bought every remaining bag!!

Steppenwolf was my first concert, age 13, Wildwood Convention Hall. If my father knew what it was like, he would have locked me in the house.

Oddly, modern metal fans have a rep for surprisingly good behavior.

I recently went to a metalcore concert, everyone was so lovely. We stood with the main crowd and then sat with some other oldies with sticks and a few people in wheelchairs for a while, it was a great night.
The following week I went to the Opera!

My wife and I hosted some of her cousins from California a couple of weeks ago, and they were looking for things to see in Alabama. I'm neither a sports fan nor a motor-head, but...
The Barber Vintage Motor Sports Museum is one of the best museums I've visited.

I wonder if they'd be interested in your NASCAR permit?

Two vintage/antique spoons. I think the one on the left is an Algerian spoon with a commemorative (replica) coin. The one on the right is missing the "gems"

Still no idea who the maker is ... (@Any Jewelry @silvermakersmarks @DragonflyWink)
Not sure if the 1st letter is a C or a G, and not sure if the 2nd letter is a B/H/K or R.
Last part seems to be a Zn (= Zoon = Son)

Or the Belgian one. It looks a bit chunky for the Dutch sword. A good clean will tell us more.
The shape is not the usual shape modern Dutch maker's marks have, but let's find out if it is Belgian first. Belgian maker's marks can be any shape.
Is there a 7 at the end, where you have cut the photo?
