Agreed. I never really understood John Lennon's "Bed-in" either. It wasn't performance art; it was just a way to be weird and grab press.

I eat fish, but don't generally seek it out. I like shrimp but can take or leave lobster. Shellfish I generally just leave.

My rule, as I tell every one, is that I do not eat anything with more than four legs!:D

I have tried shellfish, but do not like the taste. I do eat fish, but not Mussels, whelks, cockles , oysters etc.etc.

Oysters, served raw, always struck me as slimy attempted suicide. I only eat clams in chowder.

I have eaten snails... yuk, gritty and very chewy, definitely not to my taste, literally. That said the garlic sauce was nice!

Not a favorite here either. Scallops however, when cooked in garlic and butter, are another matter.

I must agree with evelyb, yep, scallops are ok, but the sauce again like snails, is wonderful. Scallops in bacon Komo? Sounds interesting too!
I do try just about anything, hence having eaten the snails, but I stick to my mantra, two legs, but not more than four!

Eating stone...nahhh. Roo tail I'm told however is quite tasty. So is alligator tail. Rattlesnakes have no feet, but can be stewed, or so I'm told. Personally, I like the idea of chowing on the Serpent.

I was told by a member of the UK special forces, that they always carried a bottle of tobasco, it makes snake and lizard and whatever a little more palatable.....or so I was told.

It was, and possibly still is, included with a lot of USAian MRE/meal kits for the same reason. I'm surprised Commonweath troopers don't get Periperi instead. Then again, Tabasco with habaneros will blow the hide off a gator.

I don't know, somehow Pollock appeals to me. I think with Picasso it's the weird faces, the way he rearranged the features. It kind of creeps me out

Pollock I get, oddly. I understand what he was doing and what he was after.
