Featured Antique bisque figurine or modern reproduction

    I found this on my travels in Cheshire today. I can't fathom if it's a genuine antique or mid century repro. I didn't notice that the bottom of his drinking vessel was missing until I got home. He stands at 34cm tall.

    PS the firing cracks make me think it has some age, but the quality of the finish suggests it's not by one of the higher end producers.

    I got nuttin' other than to say Continental. I'm leaning towards French with that fancy dress. The "1" in "14" looks modern so I dunno about age, but thinking 19th c. Guesses is all I got!
