I haven't figured out the mark, It's been repaired, has chips and much of the polychrome is worn. But I still like it, with all its faults..
Measures 6" long x 7" tall. Anyone recognize the mark, or what it was used for?
I would imagine powder or ointment for baby.

I think the mark is Conta & Boehme.

What a fantastic piece! Such a great look and so many bells and whistles.

Can't help with the maker, but my first thought was German which would match with Conta & Boehme as Moreother suggested if the mark is a match.

I think it is more of a young girl --maybe a 3 year old, less of a baby. Just playing in the crib. Got to love the doll, and all the details around the base.
