Journalist who loves antiquity and history

Hello, fellow enthusiasts. My name is Pavel. I've been interested in history and antiques since childhood. As an adult, I started writing historical novels and opened an antiques store. But my primary profession is journalism (19 years of experience, 2023 Pulitzer Prize nominee). I'd be happy to discuss the antiques trade, history, politics, and journalism. I'm based in the USA.

I took two years of journalism at Carleton U , & got a A++ for a film I made , titled...... " How not to make a Film "

but that's a story for another time !!!

 

The first part of my work was in the war zone in Ukraine (lifestyle). The second part was in Canada (lives of the disabled) and the United States (military and political analysis). In war zones, a large number of antiques are currently disappearing. Fire and weapons destroy everything.
