Featured Antique Falstaff Lemp Beer w/ label

This was a wild find-really a crazy novelty. It's a 125 yr old beer bottle w/ it's original label and no rust on the original bale and ceramic stopper.
This beer was created in three steps 100 plus years ago.
This is how I'm guessing it was made: A. The beer was brewed and barreled in St. Louis B. The bottles were made in Illinois C. Beer kegs and bottles were shipped by train to San Francisco, that's where the bottles were filled and sold.
How the empty bottle remained in such superb condition-who knows ?

Found in Portland Oregon. San Francisco may've been a main West Coast shipping hub for Lemp, Est 1840 in St. Louis. Portland's biggest local brewery was Henry Weinhard, Est 1864.

Alert- The main collector of Lemp Brewerania states this bottle is a fantasy/ forgery. The label was printed as an insert for a theatrical program, this was glued to a bottle.
I'm waiting to hear back and see if label and bottle are actually period (1900-1919).
PS- Glad I paid $3.99 for this piece, it was a cheap wake up call ! I also don't specialize in antique beer items-there's none out there for my price point !
