Featured Light Show

Hey all!

Ms. Ghopper and I went to a national Vintage/Antique lighting show a couple of weeks ago, and this was our haul. Any comments?

This is a Dietz & Brother Sperm Wale oil burning Solar lamp ca. 1850.

A Rochester cast brass aesthetic movement table lamp ca. 1880 flanked by two Bradley & Hubbard junior lamps ca. 1890s.
A glass base figural lamp with a black glass pedestal and a patent date of 1876. Don't know the maker. Do you?

"The Whistler" by Bradley & Hubbard

A pair of brass sconces ca. 1890. Rare pink shades.

An unusual Neoclassical slag table lamp ca. 1925 signed Bradley & Hubbard.

 

An absolutely ravishing sextet of exquisite lighting-a worthy addition to your already admirably curated collection-well done !

I think it's amazing that they have survived more than 100 years intact. I love the one with the milk glass lady. Here's a similar one on ebay for $5,000. https://www.ebay.com/itm/223344809951

I love the shade on the whale oil one. As for the lady..bingo!

 

And the boy whistling--- fun! I love to whistle.
