    The patent number, which is for the motor, dates to 1927. And this appears to be your model although of a slightly different date.

    This machine is very similar but my stich control is different, model is on the back of my machine and this machine has a reverse lever and my machine doesn't have a reverse. I'm thinking my machine was to be older than this one.

    The patent number on your machine's motor is 1,646,962 and was granted to the motor's inventor in 1927. Your sewing machine won't be older than that; it will be newer.
