I was supposed to Swiffer, Windex, and dust today, but hubby knew the thrifts were calling me (I have been busy doing fundraising work for a few charities.) Here are a few of the things I got. I got 15% off at two places because I'm old.
Only $3, they sparkle mire than this, sterling

These lab-created sterling opal earrings were $4.

The sterling tiger's eye hoops were $2 less 15%.

Interesting print. The octopus lady is a stand-alone work by Victor Grasso. He is a local artist, but actually globally famous, in Cape May. I met him at a gallery exhibit I googled this, google lensed it, can't really find anything. I believe it's Julian Lennon as the scientist, may be a photocopy....$5 less 15%. Research is pointing to artist/musician John Frusciante....

There is not much interest. Most people want minimalistic design, sad grey modern scandinavian designs. There is a market for this, but you have to "find" the customers. They usually dont find you.

That work table is fantastic. And you got it for less than what sad grey modern Scandinavian costs! Way back in '74, U saw a lot of white furnishings and some blue (rather like Wedgwood blue). Guess grey is the colour du jour!

Gray is one of my most-hated colors in decorating, right up there with mustard brown. (flush it already) I don't know how people can stand modern drab when there's all of this beautiful wood going begging.
