Featured American Brilliant Period or Czech glass vase

    I found this last weekend. I assumed it was Czech or thereabouts. However, after a session with google I see similarities with American Brilliant Period items. It's only a shorty ~13cm tall.

    Thanks. Its really highlighted the detail hasnt it. I must take future glass photos like this. 6pm sunshine hitting it from the right hand side diffused through the tree. Mental note to self

    I'm leaning towards Eastern European. Reasons: doesn't look like it has much wear on the base, no chips or dings, and that's what my dealy-boppers tell me. But it is awesome and someone will lust after it.

    I'd guess a more modern version of lead crystal; photos look like a combination of pressed and unpolished gray cut. ABP typically has a sawtooth edge rather than the chamfered edge shown here. Irena of Poland makes very similar pieces.
