I grabbed this today thinking it would be easily identifiable, but alas, no. It has a mark on the base of a B inside a C and a C inside a sun on the side. Ive been on the british marks site and have drawn a blank. Google lens says 'no' as well.

How can sonething so distinctive be so illusive?

I couldn't put an age on it. Beyond my skillz. Its kind of timeless in style but looks pretty new with not much wear.

I get a 90's vibe. I love that inset ! I dabbled in studio pottery for a bit and quickly found out there are a zillion of them .Literally .

Do we think it might be some sort of studio pottery? So annoying when it looks like it'll be easy to ID, but then, nope.

Thats what i think it is with the siggy and distinctive patterns. Looks like some troika influence perhaps?
