Yes it is. First she posts lengthy posts with a lot of links (and AI 'info'?) in a number of threads, and then all of those posts suddenly disappear.

 

only a Mod , can do that !!!!!!

& I went overboard to be nice to her............... sigh..!

 

And I replied to several of her posts, taking them seriously, even though there was a little voice at the back of my mind saying "AI, AI". Or maybe it was ay-ay-ay.

 

Nice masks.

 

I could really use a platoon of those.

 

There are 2 Christines with that surname on LinkedIn. One is in Germany. The other is in the US & describes herself now as an 'AI trainer'. Also has 'gamer' on her list of occupations. There is also a GoFundMe appeal. Suspect she is the author of the 'memoir' independently published under that name. Looks to me like she spends her time trying to manipulate other people's emotions to her profit.

 

The long-winded-ness sounded a bit AI-ish, but there was also enough personality and idiosyncrasy to make me pause before concluding that. Perhaps human-edited after AI- generated.

I do know that there are apps today to camouflage AI: it can add in common errors, replace more esoteric diction, edit grammar to match an academic level and context--- high school English class vs dissertation.

Yikes!

 

I have found one thing that AI is really good at. Sometimes people post things in our humor thread that hinge on your knowing the identity of persons in a photo. I do not have television, so often know public figures by name, but do not know what they look like. Lens has so far been very good at explaining these to me.
