Uncertain about dating a pair of neoclassical candlesticks

    Not my field of expertise, appreicate inputs, dating somewhere between 1800-1900? Theres a bolt going through the candlesticks, they are made of three separate parts.

    Between the brass foot an' socket: is that wood, a burl perhaps?

    Yes, looks like burl or highly figured birch veneer, possibly masur/Karelian birch

    If I remember correctly, that was introduced sometime in the mid-19th century.

    Yeah, mid/late 19th century seems reasonable.
