Featured Help ID MCM glass ?

    Found these in my garage and am wondering if our 'Glassies' can help ID them.
    Number 1- set of 3 small cups or bowls w/ a possible silver wash/overlay.Size-3" high,4 1/2" across,base-1 3/4" tall/no marks, poss. Dorothy Thorpe ?
    Number 2- a controlled bubble glass cast ashtray/dish.Size- 6 1/2" across,2 1/4" tall, weight-2 lbs. 2oz./poss. Murano,Erickson ?
    @verybrad @TallCakes @i need help @ola402 (and all other Glassies I forgot !).

    I think Dorothy Thorpe is a good possibility. Can you photo the undersides, please?

    I agree w/ INH on the possibility of Dorothy Thorpe on the little cocktails. Is the silver part marked sterling? It will be very small. They remind me of her items because of the maddening way that the silver trim tarnishes and it's hard to clean for sterling. Retarnishes quickly too.

    I just asked mr google and there were many returns of folks selling them as Dorothy Thorpe. But they all called it different things, from small compote to candy dish to cocktail. I have never seen her wares documented in a book or catalog, I just go by the way the silver looks.
