I confess to bewilderment...what am I missing in this?
Low production run? Where is that value?

 

Kinda looks like an airbrushed Biker's Harley Davidson's gas tank.

Maybe Robin Spindler's the Fenton equivalent of Patrick Nagel,Thomas Kinkade ,Bob Ross or all 3 ?

Completely agree with both of you. First, it was the birds. Completely out of whack and the eagle (?) on the back looks like a frightened chicken. Are we to believe that a plain glass lozenge shaped vase was made by Fenton? The vase itself is nothing special. This piece has me befuddled.

 

I think the image was generated by AI. The flag is all wrong, plus other things. Can AI paint it as well?

 

Did some checking over on the bay and found out that the glass vase was made by a different glass company from an old Fenton mould. Here's the artist:

PS- Wish I could just cut/paste the address, but Ebay stopped that that, and you have to slice up the 'hyper-text' (as Mirana taught us),easier to type-in the Item number than do the Tech mumbo-jumbo.

 

Not sure, but there is a Fenton gift shop somewhere near the old factory (different small town). Apparently, some of the former Fenton Glass painters are now working there. They have a presence on eBay and you can buy some other familiar Fenton white glass painted items there. They use the Fenton name. It looks like they're taking advantage of the 250th anniversary and all the faux patriotism to sell a bunch of these items. Ms. Spindler could easily whip out another of these vases, LOL. Unless, of course, AI really painted it. Then they could whip out hundreds, LOL!!!

 

I'm fairly confident I wouldn't have grabbed this at the Thrift, gee the world's gettin' weird.
I wonder what the Antiques & Collectibles world will be like in 25 to 50 yrs-i won't be here to see it ('thumbs up !' emoji).

Dang I was just about to make a post about my awesome new vase that I spent my rent money on. Now I find out you guys already don’t like it!? It’s got birds on a flag, what’s not to like!?!? I may have spent my rent money this month but I’m pretty sure I’ll be able to retire on it in a few years. It may look like someone slapped a bumper sticker on a cheap vase and then peeled a sticker off a holiday candle and put it on top of that but it’s actually 00AK signed art. What do you guys know anyways…
