Featured Flow blue portrait vases

I bagged these two yesterday. I think they are Sampson Hancock but not convinced. You can make out the back end of Stoke on Trent England on the underside of one which narrows it down. The closest image results I have found are both dead ends. One leads to a pair of glasses and the other to a Pinterest page which in turn links to a dead ebay listing.

They are 20cm tall

I found a couple of Rowland and Marsellus (importer) vases with the same pattern, different shapes. I know a lot of people call it flow blue, but I just can't do it if there's no flow.

Ill have a look thanks.

Just posting the original portraits fyi. Portrait of Miss Rosamond Crocker by Sir Thomas Lawrence, 1827 and Sarah Siddons as the Tragic Muse by Sir Joshua Reynolds 1783-1784. An odd pairing.

I think you've hit the nail on the head. Thank you

FWIW, I agree, not flow blue to my eye

That appears to be Sir Thomas Reynolds' 'Elizabeth Countess Grosvenor'. 1818. With license.

Hadn't heard of this importer before: https://www.thepotteries.org/allpotters/844a.htm

Not flow blue. However, that all-over floral pattern is sometimes referred to as "calico."
