The one on the right in the top photo was bought by my parents while on their honeymoon in 1951. It still had the maple syrup in it and it's still liquid.

Bert Lahr had great success late in his career in the US premier of 'Waiting For Godot'.
PS- Ed Wynn did too in 'Requiem For a Heavyweight' on Playhouse 90. Two great old Vaudevillians.

Nuttiest thing-last night I dreamed I was on the set of a new Monty Python comedy. Another great thing I discovered was-2 fellows I was in a bottle digging & detectorists club are still alive and frisky and in their mid-80's !!!
One of the chaps has written a pair of books since I last saw him.

 

I thought we actually were. Do you mean this is real life?

 

At this point I'm hoping it's all a Dream. I know some religions take that viewpoint.

I read the book Waiting for Godot. Excellent read considering much of what I read in college bored me to tears.
