This is the beginnings of the next cameo I'm having made. It's pretty incredible.

But can you be absolutely certain there won't be cheese at the bottom?

Thanks. I'm not a Pooh fan. She is. Honey and cheese are two of my least favorite things in the world. I'd have never gotten that.

Where is this from? I don't recognize it as Milne's language. It's a retelling.

A.A. Milne. Winnie-the-Pooh, Chapter V, In Which Piglet Meets a Heffalump

As soon as [Pooh] got home, he went to the larder; and he stood on a chair, and took down a very large jar of honey from the top shelf. It had HUNNY written on it, but, just to make sure, he took off the paper cover and looked at it, and it looked just like honey. "But you never can tell, " said Pooh. "I remember my uncle saying once that he had seen cheese just this colour." So he put his tongue in, and took a large lick. "Yes," he said, "it is. No doubt about that. And honey, I should say, right down to the bottom of the jar. Unless, of course," he said, "somebody put cheese in at the bottom just for a joke. Perhaps I had better go a little further...just in case...in case Heffalumps don't like cheese..same as me...Ah!"

I only use a tiny bit of honey in a hot toddy. It adds to the whiskey, which is the one liquor I never liked. I eat mozzarella on pizza. Parmesan on different thing. Grilled cheese sandwich, but there can only be two pieces of cheese. Three and I won't eat it. Feda cheese on certain Greek foods. Cheetos... White cheddar popcorn, and there is a few hard cheeses I like on crackers. But, yogurt, and definitely cottage cheese I HATE. My bagel and lox is just that, no cheese on it.
I will pretty much eat anything, or at least try it. But, cheese and honey are things I just don't like. I've tried them on many occasions and they do nothing for me.

I am sorry to know that. In my entire life, you are a first, on either count...I might be able to face the future if, say, medically denied either one. But to lose both would be insufferably painful...I couldn't go on.
    Blessed Be, Snowman...

I take bit of honey to sweeten my coffee, and for a late-night snack I like wedge parmesan with a glass of tawny port.

Pooh, like Mole and Ratty, are childhood favorites that still give me pleasure. But NOT the Disneyfied versions.

I have a friend who thinks he knows Alice in Wonderland because he has seen the Disney version.

I had an uncle that was a professor of speech at Princeton Theological Seminary. I can't say he disliked Disney, but he said they "pansyfied" everything they touched.
