Featured Spent $12 today. This is what I got!

Hello All. Spent $12 today at a private estate sale. This is what I got.
1.Anchor Hocking Ruby Vase
2. 5 Boxed Hallmark keepsake ornaments
3. ! Swarovski Bear
4. Orange Cased glass pitcher
5 Fenton Hobnail Cake plate (milk Glass)
6 2 Tall green glass 50's tumblers
7. Tin of 20 Coca Cola Metal Cards in box.

Neat-At those old time prices you can really gamble and not get hurt ! What do you think's the top dollar piece in the pile ?
PS-These are the kind of prices back before we had smartphones (and why we didn't need 'em !).

Nice haul. I think I have that cake plate, or its sibling. Picked it up at a yard sale 25 years ago for a quarter, back when some things cost a quarter.

Nice!

I need the golf bag and pro gopher ........ not really........but they are smashing !!!

Right now I'm torn between the Swarovski bear and the cake stand.

It's heartening to see these kind of deals are still out there ! Gas was $1.25 a Gal and there were a fair amount of quarter buys out there, thing is ya needed the Library of Congress to ID a lot of stuff.

Well I just sold the Fenton cake plate for $36. It was listed less than an hour when somebody bought it. I love it when that happens. Lol

Now that's a fast flip. I think my fastest one was a vintage spike style menorah. Listed it one night and it was packed and off to Israel the next day.

I have sold stuff that fast in the past. It really freaked me out the first time it happened though.

To think someone out of the millions of buyers was looking for the exact thing I had listed at the same time I was listing it is really kind of eerie.

ya , but the opposite ..... I have a great item at a steal... it's been up for 10 days , ...and no one is bidding on it...... brings up the ...where are all the people question..
........

They are having to pay exorbitant amounts at the gas station & grocery store.
