That was my immediate thought but I think this is correct

I had this thought too, but is that really a word?

A vinery is a greenhouse, enclosure, or structure used for growing vines (especially grapevines), or alternatively a vineyard or wine-producing farm.

I think it is an anthill, so w+ants= wants (or w+hill=while).

The description says "what all should be ..". You can't be candour, so Delighted makes more sense with that description.

Whoever drew that bit draws just about the way I do. When I saw what Marote had made of it, realized that's what it had to be.

The first one could end with 'empty.' Another one where I'm not sure what I'm looking at.

Guess I'm having trouble seeing whatever is in the footed vessel as soup. But the reading is coherent & I can't think of a better one.

Dash after ships? Getting desperate here. @daveydempsey What reads as 'court' to you?

With all the other rebuses, the solution follows the order of the drawings, so ship/clipper/sail/sailing/? will probably be the first part of the word.
No idea what that dash between parentheses is...
Or is it a double sided arrow? Drift away?
