Loved this book. I wanted to do my college senior thesis on Scarlett as an anti-hero and was told "it's not literature." A male student got to do his senior thesis on BATMAN. Male professor.

Which Rita Coolidge album did you get? I had her album with the song "We're All Alone."

The smoky quartz ring turned out to be sterling, Arabic marks.

Every piece I've ever seen marked CREED STERLING has been attracted to a magnet.

Not as serious as the infamous "missing 18 minutes", except to serious HP readers...

Finally had a little run of luck at the thrift stores. It has mostly been brutal out there all Summer.

Picked this oil lamp up for $15.00. Does have an original old chimney with it, but not pictured. Not sure the font is original to the base, as there is an extra brass sleeve with it. It is just a little loose without the extra sleeve inserted. Haven't pinned down the maker. Any help?

This Dansk Featherstone coffee pot was $4.00.
    stuff2.jpg

This stainless steel coffee pot was designed by Nils Nisbel in the 60s for GABIS, Sweden. These are often missing their lid and I was a bit shocked by how much they go for. I bought it on a whim for $3.00.

This art deco sugar bowl was $2.00. I thought it was probably Japanese when I picked it up. The price tag obscured the mark. Come to find out it is RS Prussia, from the Reinhold Schlegelmilch factory (made in Tillowitz, Silesia --- Now Poland)

Great stuff in your thrifts! I'm going to check out a new Salvation Army thrift that's just opened up. vI need a new tea pot as the lid was broken accidentally last weekend. DH said why not just buy a new one. That's no fun, plus I might see something else that I don't need...:D

    Continued.....

This art deco Cambridge liquor set was split up and I bought the glasses separate from the decanter a couple days after the decanter. The decanter was $6.00. The glasses were bought as a part of a large lot of glassware for about 60 cents each. Too bad the 6th glass is missing.
    stuff4.jpg

This set of 4 (2 pictured) margarita glasses was part of the 60 cent glassware.
    stuff7.jpg

More 60 cent glassware. Set of 4 (one pictured). Replacements has a clear version of this, but unidentified. This has a slight iridescence to the colored part. Thought they were a bit unusual.
    stuff9.jpg

More 60 cent glassware. This is a set of 12 (one pictured). There seems to be quite a few versions of this and Murano seems the best identification for this one. Nicely made and heavy.
    stuff10.jpg

This studio pot is signed, what appears to be, Ryan Kinslow (or similar). I have not been able to pin this potter down. Fairly large and has this nice rutile glaze. Could not pass it by for $5.00.

    stuff12a.jpg

This hand made antler handle knife is signed as shown. I have not been able to find anything on the maker. Bought for $3.00.
    stuff6.jpg
Lastly, this non-traditional Zuni bowl is signed as shown. I was able to find one other piece but no information on the potter. About 10" diameter. Bought for $2.00.
