Just wondering if the members here can tell me anything about this stone pipe bowl. I’ve never seen anything quite like it, and am not sure what to make of it!

it has a somewhat , kinda , ballpark , feel to it , with that keel shape bottom , of a vintage eastern MicMac stone pipe head.

but I can't confirm that theory.......:(

Interesting, I never thought MicMac. Thank you!

These pipes were also included in the same collection:

The last pipe you show is a classic Plains style, made of catlinite.

Now, the catlinite pipe. Unfortunately it was broken and glued back together, not very well. Appears to have the name “F. Stately” scratched into it, along with an arrowhead shape.

I'm leaning towards Chippewa for the black pipe , but still , the mouth of the bowl seems too large...........so I can't offer any certainty.

Well, the picker I got the pipe from is Chippewa, so…

Just for laughs I asked Google Gemini when the style of cursive writing on the catlinite pipe dates to. While I take A.I.’s opinions with caution, in this case the result is interesting!

that's kinda interesting.... but I've hardly changed my writing style in 50 years.... and I cross my 7's ...... so there's that as well.

The handwriting is consistent with the Palmer Method my fourth grade teacher used.
