Featured 7" PAPER MACHE DRUNK DEVIL?

    I found this in a local thrift store - that face caught my attention!
    I believe he's made of paper mache, sitting on some kind of spool(?) and there is a wire that attaches somehow.
    It has a tint stamp on the bottom that says Made in Germany.
    What the heck is this thing?
