Featured Vintage Rosary ❤️Maven

I was “very thoughtfully” gifted this beautiful vintage rosary. Originally thought to be from closer to 1900, I date it to the late 1930’s/early 1940’s through my experience in religious artifact. Still, I absolutely LOVE this well thought out present.

The rosary itself is 22 inches long, the cross is 1 5/8 inches in height, and 1 1/8 inches in width. The beads are glass amethyst faceted. The cross is gold gilt, with some age wear.

I absolutely love this beautiful rosary, and I will certainly use it in “good faith”. ❤️Maven

My mother's Rosary was made of amethyst glass beads. We buried it with her because it seemed appropriate. None of the younger generation is Catholic. Yours is beautiful

I love that the beads have so many facets and are an unusual shape. They catch the light beautifully. They certainly did glass beads well in that era.
