Featured What type of bowl is this? I think a candy bowl but not sure...

    The leaves are shallow so that's why I think its a bowl.

    that's actually pretty true lol. I have two matching Chinese duck tureens that I use as a catch all. This would make a pretty good soap dish.

    Now a days anything goes...Back in the day my Mom used those 3 leaf dishes for company, and they has either nuts (3 different kinds) or Candy(mints, chocolate, non pariels or as a relish dish with gherkins and black and green olives!

    My grandmother had a similar dish/bowl with a plainer pattern. I am not sure if he she ever used it. My first thought is for candies, chocolates and such.
